Altered Cigar Box
Ever wonder what to do with all those empty cigar boxes you have
laying around the house? Ok. It's not like most of us have empty
cigar boxes laying around the house, but if you did, have we got
a class for you! We supply the box, pretty paper, embellishments,
adhesives, and all the things necessary to alter your box into a lovely
piece of functional art. If you like, bring some items from home to give it your own personal touch!

Patchwork Portrait Painting
This is an amazing class! You will surprise yourself with your hidden talents. Satisfy your desire for collage and painting by combining a bit of patchwork with paper scraps, paint, and texture for a free spirited piece of art! Learn collage techniques, charcoal sketching, and layered acrylic painting while you create a beautiful portrait with a bohemian flair!

Birds of a Feather
With a little felt and some leftover fabric scraps, lots of embellishments and whimsy we will hand stitch a Fanciful Scrap Bird or Crow (your choice) that you will love and want to keep for yourself! We will begin by selecting a color of felt for your bird, cut out bird pattern from felt, stitch on a patch of fun fiber hair, draw & paint a colorful eye, dress with scraps of fabric, and finish it off with an assortment of beads, sequins, and simple embroidery. Plus! Hand paint and embellish a pretty little stand for your feathered friend!

Fairy in a Jar
Remember catching fire flies in a jar when you were a kid?
Did you ever catch a fairy? No? Well here's your chance to catch your very own mystical fairy. We will assemble found objects, plant a little Spanish moss, select the perfect fairy image, create a 3D fairy, add a little bit of magic, and low and behold, you will have captured your very own whimsical and mystical Fairy in a Jar!

Yo-yo Pincushion
No, not the Yo-yos on a string. We're talking fabric Yo-yos here! These cute hand sewn pincushions are not only adorable but they are functional! Yo-Yo's have been around for many years and there are so many ways they can be used! Join us for a fun time learning how to make these fun little creations, and learn other ways they can adorn, embellish, and decorate your projects. We will also make a cell phone yo-yo charm and a flower yo-yo broach!

Portrait Window House
These adorable chipboard houses are one-of-kind masterpieces! Each house is die-cut and contains a front stoop, roof, chimney, & window box. Get ready to decoupage and decorate your house into a beautiful piece of art. Then personalize it by adding family pictures in the windows and door! The house stands 9" tall and will add a fun look to your family room, bedroom, or any room for that matter! Please bring pictures you wish to put on your house. We will scan photos (originals will not be used) and size them for a perfect fit. We will print pictures in class.

Retro Collage
Learn how to collage using original pictures, ads, & articles from magazines
dating back to the '60s, '70s, & '80s. Have fun going back in time as you
rummage through these cool and sometimes wacky magazine pull outs.
We will cut, arrange, decoupage, and add what ever retro embellishments
we can get out hands on. Your finished project will be on a 8x10 canvas
board you can leave as is or go home and frame.

Pimp My Shoes
Get ready to have a lot of fun turning a simple pair of canvas tennis shoes
into beautiful pieces of wearable art! These beauties will get you noticed from across the room and you will be the envy of every eye! Well, at least that's what I think. The shoes in the picture are a pair of $5 canvas tennis shoes from a local discount department store. Please bring your shoes to class, or call first to see if I have an extra pair in your size!!!!

Softies in Wonderland
This topsy turvy "Softie" class is in the theme of the wonderful children's
story of "Alice in Wonderland." The Topsy Turvy Birthday Cake is sewn by
hand and combines several different intricate techniques. All skill
levels are welcome to join in on this class. Embellished or not, this cake,
when complete, is a cute addition to your "Softie" collection.

KID"S CLASSES
Chinese Lantern Embellishment
Students will pick their favorite color lantern and assemble. We will embellish lantern with fun objects such as flowers, pictures, gems, beads, doodads, ribbons, trims, buttons, brads, and more. We will string together an assortment of whimsy beads to create a beautiful hanging hook for our Chinese Lantern, which can be hung from the ceiling. Add on a little battery operated lamp to top it off and brighten up our day!

Fabric & Spice Girl Necklace
Come and create one of these sweet, lacy, and feminine necklaces for yourself or for your "bff." This necklace is made of ribbons, buttons, paper swirls, fabric and lots of fun embellishments placed here or there. This necklace is fun to make and loaded with personality. It will be admired where ever you wear it.
Techniques used: Machine Sewing, Hand & Button Sewing, Tule Wrapping, and Assemblage!
