She fuses glass, and decoupages, she does pmc, and makes plushie sock monsters and felted bunnies. She does collage, mosaic, and she solders, and sometimes she even goes outside and gardens! She likes to learn new things, and so life is always interesting!
All About Yoli Manzo
Yoli Manzo was born and raised in the Silicon Valley. She now makes her home in Sacramento, California where she immerses herself in cultural art exhibiting muse from Latin folk art such as Dia de los Muertos, Frida Kahlo and religious saints. Her signature has been described as having a very sharp edge that is admirable for a woman artist. She uses mixed media, strong colors, plenty of glitter and her edgy wit to all her art! Yoli Manzo's art work,  which includes shrines, jewelry, handbags, dolls, skulls and paintings have been featured in art galleries, television, and art festivals throughout northern California, as well as internationally via the world wide web. She is a member of the Scary Art Collective and the Northern California Mixed Media Artist group.. Her website is www.sacredyoli.blogspot.com.
It is our girl Frida Kahlo's birthday this month, and what better way to honor Mexico's most influential and iconic female artist then to create a doll depicting her greatness. We will be working on a blank canvas, or otherwise known as a naked doll form, which by the way are hand made by Ms. Yoli. These adorable dolls will be ready to be painted (face and body), dressed, and embellished in keeping with the spirit of Frida Kahlo. Yoli will show us all we need to know to complete our dolls. There is some sewing involved, but not to fear, it is the slightest of stitching!
All supplies will be provided.

Erin loves all things that are handmade and believes that each and every one of us has a creative heart just waiting to be found. My Friend Annette Armas
Annette Armas grew up in East L.A. and currently resides in Pomona, where she is fulfilling her destiny as an artist. She has always been very creative but for the last four years she has been directing her creativity to painting for her company CJ's Angels. She's not your usual canvas painting artist, instead she loves to paint on clay muerto figures, wood carvings and metal nichos. She is inspired by her Mexican culture and her travels throughout Mexico. Each piece she paints comes directly from her heart & soul, her Angel up above (Carlos) and her two Angels here on earth (Willie and Theresa). If you have any questions about her artwork feel free to contact her at
